for Readers' Favorite The Cellars and Ceilings of Summer: The Autobiography of Trance Medium Summer Bacon by Summer Bacon is a different kind of memoir that explores supernatural and spiritual themes in the author’s story and journey in understanding and accepting her unique gift. One of the most powerful mediums of our time tells her story. In the acknowledgments, the reader hears the voice of urgency and love: “I needed to write this book from my truth. I needed to be clear and honest and direct. I needed to tell you everything. About the lies, the abuse, the uncertainty, the joy, the love, the passion, and wonder.” But what is it all about? This is the story of a unique gift. The author is gifted with spiritual insight and can connect to memories of a life that is hard to believe is real and she discovered that she had this gift when she was just eleven months old. Determined to understand the spiritual part of her life, the author undertakes a journey to unveil the truth — the core truth of her existence. Follow her journey through supernatural phenomena, out-of-body experiences, powerful spiritual insights, encounters with aliens, remote viewing, and a lot more. Here is a person who is so gifted spiritually but who suffers human abuse and rape. But how does she survive, given her consciousness and what she can do? That is what readers find out in this well-crafted and honest narrative. Fans of Lobsang Rampa will enjoy this book. The style is unique, the prose beautiful and crisp, and the entire writing filled with clarity and light. The Cellars and Ceilings of Summer: The Autobiography of Trance Medium Summer Bacon is an inspiring story that awakens the sense of the spiritual in each of us. |
What people are saying...
I did not expect this book to be what it is about. I had no idea. But everything comes to us when we are ready. I shook my head, smiled and kept reading.
This book opens us up to responses from within that have been waiting for our expression. This happens only when we are ready to surrender and allow the love and the light of God to shine through.
For me, while reading, I felt bursts of freedom, then compassion and even gratitude.
As I read The Ceilings and Cellars I said to myself over and over “Oh, this story is going to be so helpful to so many," and then I would read the next chapter and say the same thing: "Oh, this is going to affect many to make new decisions about where they want to go in their life from where they are." I could sense and actually feel the others who would be reading this book, making the decision to “let themselves off the hook” for everything they had every done, allowing forgiveness to reign.
As Summer shares her most personal life experiences, the very things that society disapproves of, I was flooded with compassion for the courage, bravery and strength it took to write it all down. She shares her raw emotions, her experiences of grief, sadness, fear, anger and pain all while trying to function “normally” amidst multiple chaotic realities playing out.
I thought: “Do I have that kind of courage? Hhhmmm. Maybe some day.” Thank you Summer ~ Love, hugs and all that jazz!

It’s 10:22 PM, PST, and I just finished reading your book.
What amazed me, Summer, as I read, was your never-failing possession of your sense-of-self, underneath it all (despite the bouts with low-self esteem and the PTSD as a result of the abuse); your utter sheer and complete transparency; and a humility beyond belief, coming from someone as gifted as yourself. I’ve always known you were and are gifted, but your book opened my eyes to the many facets of your gifts, that you give and share with the world. I think one gift given to you before you were born, and revealed to you as an infant, was the clarity of knowing your purpose before you could even speak a word. Many of us live our whole lives wondering what our purpose is, why we are here, and if Jesus is truly pleased with the lives we are living….even though we’re assured all is in perfect order and there are no mistakes, only learning and growth, because we are so deeply loved…with our lives being an exhale of God’s expression.
Your deep connection, love and relationship with Dr. Peebles, and to Jesus Christ, comes through clearly and effortlessly. It is warming and uplifting to read your descriptions of your encounters with them.
Summer, you are a gifted and talented writer. Your writing style kept me grabbing your book night after night, not wanting to put it down. I hope you plan on writing more books, and this is just the beginning, the “first chapter”, if you will.

I read your book two days ago nonstop. I could not put it down. Your words came to life and I saw it as if your writings were a movie- alive and right in front of my eyes. Your words came alive from the paper that it was written upon! I don't have the words to describe how much I loved your book. I just wanted you to know that I loved it and when I can articulate it better, I will. At a loss for words...
Thank you so much, Summer, for who you are.

Hi Summer; it is with great dismay that I had to wrench myself away from your book! I Love your book! I’m deeply looking forward to reading more this evening. I’ll have to steel myself, to put it down at a decent hour, which I can tell, won’t be easy. So thank you and Bless you!
Oh, Summer!! I cannot put down your book. I have read over 3/4 of it in one sitting. It is beautifully written and you have transformed all of your suffering into giving. Giving to us your beauty, your allowing, your love and our beautiful Dr. Peebles. This is powerful stuff, girl. You are glorious indeed.
