And now for something completely different.
When I saw post election protests on TV (2016), my heart sank at the sight of so much violence and hatred. I felt emotionally paralyzed, as if I'd been fanning this small bit of kindling for the past 22 years in doing this work, just trying to keep the love on earth alive. Then I thought of all of you: my clients, friends and family who are also fanning those flames. It's more important than ever to keep up the good work. Call me an idealist (because I am), because I truly believe that one day, the world will be ablaze with love.
As I thought of this, I remembered a channeling that I did in 2003 in my home, surrounded by a group of eight good friends. We were having fun, practicing channeling, seeing who might come through unexpectedly. Well, I was quite surprised when Martin Luther King showed up and spoke through me with such power and conviction. I still am taken aback when I listen to the recording.
What he said that day, has even more meaning to me today.
Dr. Martin Luther King speaks through Summer Bacon
"I have a dream! I have a dream. I still have a dream. To fulfill the promise, to all of mankind, of forgiveness, through releasing of pain of generations. Not only of blacks, but of the white slaves. Of the slaves of all countries, all barriers, all borders, all boundaries, all colors, all races. I still have a dream! A dream of forgiveness. A dream of taking charge of your eternal light! A dream where selfishness is replaced by righteousness. I have a dream! That all tendencies towards anger will disappear, because the love will be so bright, so real, so true. I have a dream. That all of guilt, all of sin, will be dissolved forever, and through the language of love. The love that is unity; the love that allows diversity! The love that allows expression! The love that allows freedom, and peace on earth, goodwill towards all men, all children, all women, all races, all colors, all here, all One, forever."

This audio was recorded on a cassette. Be patient. In the beginning there are just a few seconds of some crackling sounds. These will pass, and the rest of the recording is clear.
