Your Wildest Dreams

[Excerpt from May Seasons of the Soul: Stop Sitting On the Fence]

Take a nice deep breath each day just simply thinking, dreaming, day dreaming about possibilities, a look into the little corners of your soul where you have tucked away ideas that you truly wanted to manifest but never did. Perhaps one of you wanted to make a little dolly that was very sweet and very kind. A little doll made of fabric with a little smile and little curls in her hair, and she was going to be given to the many rather than the few children who needed to have something to play with; children who did not have something to play with. Perhaps it was your dream to be a toy maker, to give to children who need toys. That is a dream. That’s a beautiful dream, and it’s not out of reach, but you have to start somewhere my dear friends to manifest that reality. You have to give yourself permission to even have the dream; you have to stop telling yourself, “It will never work. It’s going to fail. You don’t have enough money. It will never work. You’ll fall to pieces. What are you, an idiot? How dare you think of such trashy ideas; it’s ridiculous!” God bless you, indeed!

My dear friends, it is not ridiculous, it is beautiful! Don’t struggle against it. Surrender into your wildest dreams in this month because it is there that you will get clarity around your life. Even if you choose not to put these things into action you will get clarity around your life just by looking at it in the way in which we are directing you to do. To look at your fears, your expectations, to look at it in these ways, your expectations of yourself. “What would be required of me to make this happen? Am I willing?” Then you find, my dear friends, perhaps in some cases what you thought were your dreams really aren’t anymore. “Well yes, it would require a lot from me and I guess I really am not willing to do that.” Well, by going into those situations, going into those ideas, you can at long last discard them or you can embrace them, and what this does is it brings you closer and closer to the foundation of your soul; what your inner resources are, what your strengths are. If you are, for example, a doctor or lawyer and your desire has always been to create and design furniture, then let yourself go into that place. Go into that place of listening to your heart. What sorts of furniture would you create? Where would you begin? Where would you find your resources? What would you use to make that furniture? Would it be wood? Would it be metal? Would it be made of feathers? That’s entirely up to you. Anything is possible. Let yourself go into that place of creative understanding of your soul and you will learn and you will grow, and you might find that slow and steady here, the change commences, and you fall off the fence soft and gentle like a leaf falling from a tree, and you fall into a beautiful meadow, and your life feels so sweet and so complete, and you allow yourself this experience into your soul.
