I once read an article in which the author, who was also a poet, wrote about how a new poem would suddenly storm into her consciousness like a thundering herd of elephants, and if she didn't write it down immediately, it would disappear just as quickly as it came.
That's exactly how it is with Dr. Peebles. When I want to hear from him, his response is quick and often succinct. Or, if he needs to get my attention, some random "thought" will pop into my head (which I can now identify as his voice). Such as the time that I was getting into a hot bath in the middle of the day, after a particularly exhausting morning of channeling. I no sooner tipped my big toe into the tub when I heard, "I need an audience." I responded aloud, "Well, I need a bath." To which he replied, "I need an audience now." I reluctantly drained the tub, and called Bev and another friend, and channeled the first of an amazing series of events called The Ministry of Light. When I have a question for Dr. Peebles, I ask it aloud, only once. Then, I immediately tune in to whatever "thought" pops into my head. Sometimes my communication with him is as frivolous as telling him, "I'm too tired to channel the session today at 9:00am, Dr. Peebles," and I will hear an immediate reply such as, "Take a nap," or "It will be okay. Proceed." These words simply flit in and out of my consciousness very quickly, and I have learned to trust them, without having to know why. Perhaps I take the nap, as guided. And, during the nap I receive a kind of healing, or download of information, or something else that is imperative to the session being done clearly. Or, perhaps I proceed with the session, feeling exhausted, but then find that the exhaustion lulls me into a deeper trance than I have ever been in before. The voice of Spirit can be very subtle. It's that still, small, loving voice within that, if you can learn to discern it from your own thoughts, can create magic in your life. It takes practice, and a willingness to listen in a different way. And, it takes trust. I had no idea why Dr. Peebles needed an audience at that very moment, but the timing was important. Had I not seized the moment, I might have missed the magic. The same thing happened when I was told by Jesus that, "Now is the time" to stop private sessions, and channel only one teaching each week. Had I not listened, we would have missed the magic and guidance of these weekly teachings.
