“We speak the language of the heart, but you try to understand it with the language of the mind. You can’t fully understand what we are saying until you drop into your heart space,” Dr. Peebles once said to someone who was having a hard time understanding his teachings.
I have many regrets in my life, but the one thing that I have never regretted is developing my relationship with God and Spirit. I have never once looked back with regret for a time when I prayed, meditated, practiced channeling, or sent healing to someone. I have only walked away from those moments filled with peace, love and, at times, even awe. The more I do these things, and the deeper I dig inside of myself for that connection with the invisible, the more filled with awe I become, because the more tangible God and Spirit become as well.
My daughter and her family surprised me with 60 wonderful little gifts for my 60th birthday last month. Each one was individually wrapped, and they were so much fun to open. One of them was a tiny flower pot with soil, seeds and instructions for planting coneflowers.
July 4, 2020 was the first day of my sabbatical from private sessions. My Independence Day. It didn’t come easily.
