Flea Remedy

At an Open Session in Sedona, Arizona, an attendee asked Dr. Peebles a question about how to get rid of fleas on her rabbits. Dr. Peebles answered simply, "Dandelions." He then proceeded to say, "You pull the dandelions from your yard, and then you all wonder why Fido has fleas!" Everyone laughed, and when Summer heard about Dr. Peebles' "remedy" for fleas, she had to check it out for herself. She went to the internet searching for any references to dandelions affecting fleas. She found nothing more than a few references to dandelion extract being used as one of the ingredients in natural flea remedies.

Within a few  days she received an email by someone who had attended that Open Session. This individual commented that she had unexpectedly adopted a kitten who had been abandoned. The kitten was covered with fleas.

The woman remembered what Dr. Peebles had said about dandelions, and amazingly found something called "dandelion powder" which she sprinkled on the kitten and the kitten's bedding. According to her email, "The fleas AND their eggs were GONE within twenty-four hours!" As Dr. Peebles would say, "How do you like them apples?"
