Dr. Peebles through Summer Bacon (June 12, 2010 excerpts) Upon your earth, my dear friends, goodness gracious, there are many things occurring! We hear your cries of pain. We have, shall we say, concerns about you in that we pray that you will retain that greater state of love, that you will have the confidence to bring it to the surface in your own life, and as well to be the receiver of it when it is given to you. My dear friends, it is not an easy journey on your earth, but we know the outcome. We know that you're going to make it, and when you do you'll say, "Why did I waste so much time? Why did I worry? Why did I feel fear? Why did I hold anyone at arm's length? Why did I put the emphasis on whether or not I have wrinkles? Whether my breasts are big enough, or small enough? Do I get an erection every other Saturday or not?" You see, my dear friends, we hear it all, God bless you indeed. We see it as well, and every flip of your hand towards a stranger, and every time you walk past a woman who has dropped her purse. We see that as well, my dear friends. Those sorts of things sadden our hearts. Why do you not have the confidence to stop to pick up the purse, to look at the stranger and smile? Why do you not have the confidence to give money to someone who asks? Why do you not have the confidence, my dear friends? Because you are looking to the wrong idols here, worshiping the false idols of your Planet Earth. "What would mommy think? What would daddy think? What would the neighbors think? What would my dog think? What would Dr. Peebles think?" Well, you're getting closer, warmer. God bless you, indeed, my dear friends, what do YOU think, because you have to live with yourself. You, my dear friends. You have to live with yourself, and within you, my dear friends, God exists. The light is there, and it is up to you how brightly you allow for It to burn. Do you have the confidence? Do you, my dear friends, have the confidence not to speak unkind words about someone? Do you have the confidence to care for a neighbor who is sick? Do you have the confidence to look into the mirror and love the lines of expression that are developing upon your face? Do you, my dear friends, have the confidence to get up out of your chair and to believe in your wholeness, and to know that you can be healed? Do you, my dear friends, have the confidence? This is something that comes at first with practice. Sometimes you just need to look in the mirror and say, "I love those beautiful wrinkles of expression upon my face, and I love the length of my chin, and I love the way I look when I am stretched out on the couch." It takes practice, but when you put your emphasis there rather than all the thoughts that bring you down, that make you sad, that anger you, that humiliate others, my dear friends, when you put your energy there, that's what you're creating on the inside. As you believe, so it is done unto you. "Oh dear! Look there! Another commercial! Hmm, looks like we're all going to get cancer and die. Oh dear! Look there! You see that man over there? He's smoking a cigarette! I think we should shoot him! Look over there! Oh goodness gracious! Somebody is on their knees in worship! How dare they that they're not worshiping my God." My dear friends, can you feel the energy of these words? How sad it is! It's not right, it's not wrong, it just is what it is. But with every word such as this, you stop the momentum in your life. You stop the movement. "Stop! Do not come close to me! You have a cigarette in your hand! You will kill me with it, I'm certain!" And so you hold life at arm's length. And, over here is a child, and you say, "Stop your yelling and crying and screaming! I don't like it!! It pains my ears!!!" Oh goodness gracious, my dear friends why would you want to hold life at arm's length? It takes so much energy. My dear friends, if you only knew how delicious you are, how lovely you are, how luscious you are, how beautiful you are. You haven't the foggiest idea about the scope of your inner nature, creators, beautiful each and every one of you. Some of you have the ability to take a bird into your hands and to bring it back to life. Some of you know how to make airplanes. Some of you play guitar. Some of you, my dear friends, hike large mountains. God bless you, indeed, my dear friends! So many of you, and so many beautiful, beautiful, beautiful qualities about you, and they are endless. And yet, because of your fears and your expectations and your judgments and your desires, to be in pain and anxiety and misery, and to not trust in God, and to not trust in you, my dear friends, you are stuck. You lack confidence. But, once upon a time there was a point at which humanity chose to eat of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, the illusions of separation. But, today, my dear friends, you have a chance to eat from the Tree of Life, and that is to love in every thought, every gesture, every plan, every dream. You have it in you, my dear friends, to become all that you desire. For, that is truly love coming to the surface.
