Frequently Asked Questions

Q. I have never downloaded an mp3. Is it easy?

A. YES…the downloading part is simple, IF your computer is prepared to accept the mp3 download. Do you have enough memory? Do you have an audio player installed such as Quicktime or iTunes? If you are not sure, we suggest contacting your computer technician for assistance.

Q. How do I download the mp3s once I have purchased them from the online store?

A. Make sure that you have logged in under "Store Account Login" on the right hand side of the home page. Then, under "Account Manager" click on "My licenses/download" which will take you to a page with your purchased items for download.

Q. Do you do short, 15 minute sessions? I'd like to just ask Dr. Peebles one question.

A. Unfortunately, no, I don't. The trance process is fairly taxing on my body, and whether I go into trance for 5 minutes or 45 minutes, I am often very tired afterward. Think of the energy of spirit as being high voltage, and my body is a low voltage wire. Some days it can take a few hours for me to recover from a session (I'm kind of loopy afterward). I'm not complaining though. I always think of it like this: ballerinas and football players get tired too. Trance channeling involves surrendering your body to spirit, which means "vacating the premises" to a degree. :) And, it can take awhile to come home (to the body) again.

The good news, if you are in the Sedona, Arizona area on a day when I have an Open Session, you can put your name in the "hat" and maybe your name will be called so you can ask a question. If not, you can still enjoy a wonderful nurturing morning with Dr. Peebles, and with an audience full of people of like mind and like heart!

Q. Do you ever recommend other mediums or psychics?

A. Please check my links section for some of my recommendations about people who I feel are in integrity as mystics, and in other areas of life.

I have to admit that this is a sticky question for me, because I don't want to come off as holier than thou, and I do not wish to offend anyone. But, personally, I'm still waiting and hoping someday to meet a channel for Dr. Peebles who is of the caliber of my mentor, Thomas Jacobson. I would love be able to talk to Dr. Peebles again without having to trance channel him or hear him myself. At this point, however, I cannot in confidence recommend another channel for Dr. Peebles. But, believe me, when I find one, I will be celebrating and sharing the information with everyone! :)

Q. Do you do trades?

A. No. I'm sorry.

Q. Do you ever have reduced rates for private sessions?

A. No. I'm sorry. I am only able to do a few sessions each week, and therefore, in order to remain in financial integrity, I am unable to reduce my rates.

Q. Where do you go/what does it feel like when you are in trance?

A. It feels like I'm somewhere up and back behind my body when I am in trance. It's not like being out of body, but more like a sense of detachment. It can feel very nice and warm, like a blanket of love wrapped around me, and sometimes I don't want to come out of trance.

Q. Do you ever hear what Dr. Peebles is saying while you are in trance? Do you remember anything?

A. When I'm in trance, I sometimes am aware of what he is saying. Sometimes, in fact, I find the things he says to be very interesting. But, just like it's difficult to remember a lucid dream once you awaken, it's difficult to remember what he says when I come out of trance. So, most of the time I remember absolutely nothing. If I remember anything at all, it's just a snippet of the conversation.

Sometimes when I am in trance I find myself wandering in thought. I might even be thinking about what I need to pick up at the grocery store.

Other times, I might actually be carrying on my own conversation with Dr. Peebles while he is speaking to my client on a completely different topic.

On two occasions, I actually left my body completely. Once, many years ago, I heard one of my children cry out from their bedroom where they were playing while I did a session for a group in my home. My mommy instinct was to rush to their side (although there were plenty of friends who were aware that they might need something while I was in trance). So I left my body, and "walked" down the hall. Only when I reached for the doorknob did I realize I was not in my body. I floated back to the living room, and I saw my body sitting in a chair, my lips flapping away as Dr. Peebles spoke to everyone. Now, that was a weird experience!

Q. Do you consider yourself to be "new age?"

 A. This might sound strange, but no, I don't consider myself to be "new age." The "new age" movement developed in the latter half of the 20th Century [see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Age]. What I do as a trance medium has been around for centuries. I consider myself to be a Christian Mystic, because of my ability as a medium and mystic, and my belief in Jesus Christ, although this would not necessarily be my formal title [see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christian_mysticism]. I am not a member of any church or religious organization. I personally believe that there are as many perspectives as there are stars in the heavens. The perspective that Dr. Peebles shares through me speaks to my heart, and I believe is one of the most all-embracing spiritual perspectives that I have ever heard. Dr. Peebles' teachings are founded solely in love, and are about surrendering into the embrace of life, rather than holding any of life at arm's length. His teachings echo the truth found in the teachings of Jesus Christ, (who he calls "the greatest medium to ever walk the earth"): "I am in you, you are in Me, and we are as One in God." In other words, any separation between any of us (Christian, Buddhist, Atheist, etc.) is an illusion. We are here to "discover and dissolve the illusions of separation within self and between life."
